FAQs

Before Your Session

Preparing your body and mind ahead of time helps you receive the deepest benefits from our work together. Here are a few simple guidelines:
Hydrate

Drink water steadily throughout the day and, if you like, include your favorite electrolytes. Hydration supports circulation, tissue pliability, and lymphatic flow—so your body is ready to respond.

Eat Lightly

Have a light meal or snack 1–2 hours before your session. Arriving overly full or hungry can make it harder to relax.

What to Wear

Bring or wear something loose, breathable, and comfortable to put on afterward. Since warm herbal oils may be used, avoid anything too precious.

Set an Intention

Take a moment to notice how you’re feeling and what you’d like to receive from your session—whether it’s pain relief, grounding, or emotional release. This small act helps focus the work and deepens the experience.

What is Ayurveda?

Great question! I wrote an article on this exact topic… you can read all about it on our sister site, Joon Spice.

Why aren’t the other therapies listed for direct booking?

Some of my Ayurvedic therapies require a bit more preparation and customization. Because Ayurveda is still new to many people (though it’s quickly becoming more recognized), I prefer to connect with each client 1:1 before scheduling these sessions. This allows us to discuss which therapy - or blend of therapies - will be most supportive for your unique needs, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all menu.

If you’re interested in these deeper therapies, please reach out through the contact form. I’ll be happy to guide you toward the right option for where you are in your healing journey.
