FOUNDER JOON WELLNESS & JOON SPICE
Holistic Practitioner | Massage Therapist | Consultant
For more than a decade, I have been dedicated to the art of healing -working with the body, mind, and spirit through massage therapy, Reiki, and Ayurveda. My journey began with a deep curiosity about the body’s innate ability to heal, leading me to train in a variety of therapeutic modalities that bridge ancient wisdom with modern wellness.
As a licensed massage therapist, I specialize in lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular therapy, abdominal massage, cupping, and craniosacral work - helping clients release pain, restore balance, and cultivate a deeper connection to their bodies. My approach integrates both Eastern and Western techniques, offering personalized sessions that promote circulation, detoxification, pain relief and deep nervous system regulation.
My exploration of Ayurveda - the science of life - became a defining part of my practice, shaping my philosophy on wellness and self-care starting in 2016.
One of my favorite ways to work with clients has been as a primary collaborator on the Pancha Karma & Retreat team at Finca Victoria in Vieques, Puerto Rico. This destination retreat is an Ayurvedic Detox Center & Hotel known for it’s approachable and impactful programs, featured in Publications Vogue, GQ and TIME Magazine over the years.
Through my studies in Ayurvedic therapies, pulse diagnosis, and lifestyle practices, I’ve developed a holistic approach that addresses not just physical symptoms but root imbalances. I incorporate traditional therapies like Pinda Sveda (herbal bolus massage), Nasya (sinus treatments), and Basti (therapeutic oil applications) to support pain relief, digestion, and energetic alignment.
This passion for Ayurveda also inspired me to create Joon Spice - a company dedicated to bridging Ayurvedic principles with the culinary world. Joon Spice is more than just a spice brand; it’s a way to help people infuse their daily meals with healing herbs and spices, supporting digestion, inflammation reduction, and overall vitality. Through intentional blends, I hope to make Ayurveda accessible, flavorful, and deeply nourishing for all.
At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to help people feel at home in their bodies, whether through therapeutic touch, energetic healing, or the daily ritual of food as medicine.
Let’s embark on a journey of healing, balance, and vitality - one session, one breath, and one spice at a time.
